Scenes for Screen
So you've completed a foundational screen acting course and now want to develop those skills further. How? - Practice!
In 'Scenes for Screen', you'll get to do just that: you'll turnaround a new script every three weeks, from choosing a scene, analysing it, to working through the rehearsal process and finally shooting it.
Working with established scripts - some familiar, some new - you'll be able to practice character development, work opposite other actors, and hone your actor's instinct with your tutor's input.
Moreover, this class will teach you more about the actor's process, in terms of the preparatory work of dissecting a scene for performance, as well as building your confidence in front of the camera.
When: 7.30pm-9.30pm, Monday nights for 9 weeks, starting Monday 8 October.
Where: CADA Studios, 11 Whyalla St, Fyshwick
Tutor: Fiona Hopkins
