Coming in Term 2, 2018 is 'Musical Theatre 101' - for those who want to explore acting, singing and dance together. In this introductory course, participants work on some show tunes and learn some song-and-dance routines. No previous experience necessary - just a desire to rehearse and perform with gusto!
You'll taste a different musical theatre composer or practitioner every week to take in the full expanse of this wonderful art form!

Kathleen Moore has an honours degree in Theatre and has also completed post graduate studies in Opera, Art Song and Oratorio at the University of Toronto, Canada. While her education reads Actor and Opera Singer, her resume reveals mostly Musical Theatre stage work. Kathleen’s professional Canadian Stage works include, Page in Seesaw & Clarice/Brigella in Servant of Two Masters(Toronto, Canada), Phyllis in Iolanthe (Winnipeg), Minerva in Orpheus and the Underworld (Edmonton).
In Australia, Kathleen made her first major stage appearance in the Gordon Frost Organisation & Really Useful Group’s Australiasian tour of Phantom of the Opera in 2007-2009, playing the roles of Confidante and Wardrobe Mistress. Other professional roles include Clara in The Light in the Piazza, Edith Understudy in Opera Australia’s The Pirates of Penzance, Yelenka and Lara Understudy in the GFO's touring production of Dr. Zhivago, the Musical.
